Dental Implants
IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE
Dental Implants are one of the best methods for permanent tooth replacement. They replace the roots of teeth and can serve as the base for crowns, bridges, or stabilized dentures. Dental implants are placed using a minor surgical procedure that lasts one hour or longer, depending on how many implants you need, followed one to two weeks later by removal of your sutures. In many cases implants require the addition of bone or gum tissue to maximize long-term functional and cosmetic success. We utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging (Cone Beam Technology) to determine a detailed treatment recommendation for you as part of our consultation process.
We place all of our implants fully guided, which allows for increased accuracy and safety during implant surgery as well as reduced surgery and improved recovery times. The fully guided process involves using a 3D computerized image to visualize the anatomy of the patient’s jaw and a digital impression of the patient’s mouth to allow for virtual planning of each patient’s implant procedure prior to surgery and fabricating a custom guide from that plan that is placed in the mouth during surgery.
